The device (10) has a drive housing (12) with an electromagnetic drive unit (14) and a valve unit (15) comprising a valve rod (16) and a valve closure body (17). A flow housing (13) has a fluid inlet (9) and a fluid outlet (11) formed in such a manner that the valve unit controls the fluid flow from the inlet to the outlet, and a pressure detection chamber (32) in which a pressure sensor (33) is arranged. The chamber stays in fluid connection to the outlet by an opening (35). The chamber is provided in the drive housing and in fluid connection with the opening by a connection channel (34).
