A CHEMICAL CLEANING METHOD OF PENDENT U AND W TYPE SUPERHEATERS AND REHEATERS IN THERMAL POWER PLANT

PURPOSE: A chemical cleaning method for a tube of a vertical U- and W-type steam boiler in a thermal power plant is provided to prevent the generation of air pockets by keeping a vacuum in a tube when filling a cleaning solution. CONSTITUTION: A chemical cleaning method for a tube of a vertical U- and W-type steam boiler in a thermal power plant is as follows. Vertical pipes(14,14') are installed with the length more than 10.3m from inlet and outlet headers(12,13) of a boiler tube(11). The vertical pipe are evacuated using a vacuum pump(15). A chemical cleaner is injected while keeping a vacuum in the tube and the tube is chemically cleaned. The waste cleaning solution is discharged from the tube with compressed air of 5~60kg/cm.
