<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of quickly bringing an automated external defibrillator to a person who is struck down by a heart attack etc. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The elevator device incldues a car 1 serving a plurality of floors, landing call buttons 3 provided on landing wall surfaces 13 of the respective floors to call the car 1, and a control device for controlling rising/descending of the car 1. The elevator device is equipped with the automated external defibrillator 6 mounted to an inner wall surface 1a inside the car 1 to be utilized for recovery of the cardiac function, and an emergency call buttons 7 installed on the landing wall surfaces 13 separately from the landing call buttons 3 to preferentially call the car 1 to an elevator hall when the automated external defibrillator 6 is needed at the elevator hall. The control device is equipped with an operation control part for controlling the car 1 to operate to the floor where the emergency call button 7 is operated in conjunction with the operation of the emergency call button 7.
