PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, a processing method thereof and a program, wherein distance information to an object is analyzed, arrangement positions are edited on the basis of the analytical result and images are arranged on a layout surface. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus selects a plurality of images captured by an imaging apparatus for layout, analyzes distance information from a position of the imaging apparatus imaging an object up to the object in each of the plurality of selected images, edits the arrangement position of the plurality of images on the basis of the distance information obtained by the analysis, and arranges the edited images on a layout surface.
