<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of obtaining good cooking result and having superior cooking performance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes a metallic square pan 20 disposed in a cooking chamber 1. A heating plate 22 capable of heating food is detachably disposed in a recess 21 of the square pan 20, and a rack 23 on which the food is placed is detachably disposed on an upper part of the heating plate 22. The heating cooking according to cooking purpose and cooking menu can be performed by, for example, performing heating with both of the heating plate 22 and another heating means on the rack 23.
