PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP network apparatus capable of facilitating the resetting of basic information such as an IP address or the like, and to provide an IP network system provided with the IP network apparatus. SOLUTION: The base station 12 is a base station 12 to which the IP address is set, and is provided with a processing part 20 for performing processing based on a received packet. The processing part 20 confirms the transmission destination of the packet included in the received packet, and when confirming that the transmission destination is itself, rewrites the IP address set to itself with the IP address included in the packet on condition that a specified code is included in the packet. By the base station 12, the IP address is easily and correctly set again even when the IP address of the base station 12 is erroneously set due to the human error of a system manager.
