<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe-in-pipe method enabling the transportation and connection of a new ductile cast iron pipe using a travelling vehicle for pipe transportation beyond part including a flat surface bend and an inverted siphon of which gradient abruptly changes in an existing pipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pipe-in-pipe method S for piping the ductile cast iron pipe which is the new pipe 31 in the existing pipe 11 buried in a zone including the inverted siphon includes a transport preparation process S30, a transport process S40 of the new pipe 31 and a pipe connection process S50. In the transport process S40 of the new pipe 31, a pinion 43 for meshing with a series of zones including at least the zones in the existing pipe up to the inverted siphon in the existing pipe 11, the inverted siphon and beyond the inverted siphon with an inclination part chain rack device is provided. The new pipe 31 is transported to a work position using inclination part travelling Abt system transport driving vehicles D1, D2 driven by batteries for travelling on a pipe rail 12 installed in the existing pipe 11 and a pipe transport carrier vehicle D3 connected with the inclination part travelling Abt system transport driving vehicles D1, D2.
