<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow in which its upper surface sinks by a link mechanism, and which can obtain a soft touch when placing the head and can suppress the height low. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pillow 1 has a flat head placement member 2 in a rectangular parallelepiped shape formed of a flexible member having a cavity 2a in the inside, and an urging device 4 provided in the cavity 2a so as to urge the portion above the cavity 2a of the head placement member 2 upwards and supporting the portion above the cavity in that state. The urging device 4 includes: a pair of left and right rectangular link mechanisms 6, 6 fixed so as to keep a distance between the left and right, for which the side where the neck part is to be positioned in the state of placing the head of a person on the head placement member 2 is the front side and the side where a head peak part is to be positioned is the rear side; and an upper connection member 12 disposed between the upper end rear parts of the rectangular link mechanisms 6, 6. When the head of a user is placed on the center of the head placement member 2, the lower surface of the portion above the cavity 2a of the head placement member 2 sinks over the upper surfaces of the rectangular link mechanisms 6, 6.
