A solar cell back surface protective film is provided with a first resin layer obtained using a thermoplastic resin composition formed by melt-kneading a starting material composition that contains a thermoplastic resin and a silane coupling agent. The film can additionally be provided with another resin layer that is bonded to the first resin layer. The thickness is preferably 10-1000 µm. A solar cell module is provided with the solar cell back surface protective film.
