A valve body contains both a shut off valve (139) and a metering valve (132) in flow communication with one another, the shut off valve (139) and the metering valve (132) both being controlled by rotation of a crank pin (131) inside a keeper body (152) and driven by electric motor (111). The metering valve has a conical portion (132) with a groove (162) to allow a small flow even when the conical portion (132) is shut against its valve seat (135). Movement of the crank pin (131) from one position to another (through an arc of slightly less than 180 degrees) will cause either or both the shut off valve (139) and the metering valve (132) to open or close. The valve is designed for use in monitoring pressure, and controlling water supply in a household. |
