PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with trouble such as adjusting or changing arrangement positions in accordance with shapes of buttons when the supplied buttons are changed; to easily carry out sorting of buttons in various kinds of shapes according to directions of the buttons. SOLUTION: A pair of plates 9 are arranged facing to each other via buttons 2 to generate an air flow 15 blowing to front surfaces 2a and rear surfaces 2b of the buttons 2 at a predetermined angle. Based on difference in moving directions of the buttons 2, which have received a first air flow 15A blowing to the buttons 2 from one of the front/rear directions of the buttons 2 and a second air flow 15B blowing to the buttons 2 from the other of the front/rear directions of the buttons 2 and having a vector component reverse to the first air flow 15A and approximately orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the buttons 2 on a conveyance route, the buttons 2 are removed from the conveyance route if either their front surfaces or their rear surfaces are directed to a predetermined direction, so as to sort the front/rear sides of the buttons 2.
