<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge/discharge control device for extending the cycle life of a lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The charge/discharge control device for the lithium secondary battery has: the lithium secondary battery capable of charging/discharging electricity and including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte containing lithium ions; a voltage detecting means for detecting the voltage of the lithium secondary battery; and a current detecting means for detecting a current for charging/discharging the lithium secondary battery. The charge/discharge control device includes a controller and a discharging means for performing constant voltage discharge of 3 V. The voltage V0 of the lithium secondary battery at the time (t=0) of the end of discharge is measured by the voltage detecting means. In the case of V0≤3.6 V, the controller allows the voltage detecting means to measure the voltage V1 of the lithium secondary battery after the lapse of time t1 during a pause time when the lithium secondary battery until the next charge is not charged/discharged, and if the voltage change V1-V0 satisfies a relation of V1-V0≥0.2 V, the controller controls performance for constant voltage discharge of 3 V for an hour or longer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
