摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high capacity, high cycle characteristics, and high safety. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive electrode 4 including olivine type iron lithium phosphate and lithium copper oxide, a negative electrode 6 containing compound particles including a carbonaceous material phase, a silicon phase dispersed into the carbonaceous material phase, and a silicon oxide phase dispersed into the carbonaceous material phase, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery satisfies the following formula (1) of C1<Ca<C2. Here, C1 is a first time charge capacity (Ah/m<SP>2</SP>) per an area of the positive electrode when charging the positive electrode to an electrical potential of 4.1 Vvs.Li/Li+, C2 is a first time charge capacity (Ah/m<SP>2</SP>) per an area of the positive electrode when charging the positive electrode to an electrical potential of 4.25 Vvs.Li/Li+, and Ca is a first time charge capacity (Ah/m<SP>2</SP>) per an area of the negative electrode when charging the negative electrode to an electrical potential of 0.03 Vvs.Li/Li+. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
