<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a breaking-off of a separator occurs and deterioration of storage characteristics is caused owing to volume expansion upon occluding lithium in a formed body in a flat battery using the formed body large in volume expansion when a negative electrode is formed by occluding lithium in the formed body. <P>SOLUTION: In the flat battery, the negative electrode, a positive electrode, an organic electrolytic solution and a separator formed by occluding lithium into the formed body in the battery are airtightly sealed with a sealing plate and a positive electrode case through a gasket. The highly reliable flat battery in which by forming a folded part of the separator between a rising-up part of the gasket and the positive electrode, the breaking-off of the separator accompanying the volume expansion caused when the formed body occludes lithium to form the negative electrode is suppressed and there is no deterioration of storage characteristics, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
