<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for food equipped with a storing chamber for storing a waste wrapping paper, which is excellent in operability and easy to use in both "taking out a content" and "taking out the waste wrapping paper". <P>SOLUTION: A shake-out port 30 for taking out the content and the storing chamber 25 for storing the waste wrapping paper 50 are provided in a cap 20 for covering a container body 10 for storing the food. The shake-out port 30 is covered in an openable/closable manner by a hinge-turning type shake-out lid 31 equipped with a tab for the opening/closing operation. On the other hand, the storing chamber 25 is composed of a recess 21, which is adjacent to the shake-out port 30 and opens towards its upper side, and a plate material 40 covering the recess from the above, and a space between the recess 21 and the plate material 40 is constituted as a take-out port of the waste wrapping paper 50. The tab and the take-out port are arranged on the sides opposite to each other on the cap upper surface.
