<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner for controlling the operation output of an electric blower depending on property and quality of a surface to be cleaned on which a suction port body is travelled, while including a rotary cleaning body turned forward/backward with respect to a traveling direction by an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner 1 includes: the electric blower 13 for generating negative pressure; an odor detecting portion 21 for detecting odor included in the exhaust of the electric blower 13; and a control portion 37 for controlling the operation of the electric blower 13, based on the odor detected by the odor detecting portion 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
