<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase uniformity in cooling effect to respective light emitting elements in a light source device having a plurality of light emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 1 includes a front case 3 housing a plurality of ultraviolet LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) 10 and thermally connected with the LEDs, a plurality of conductors 4 led out of the case 3 to supply power to the LEDs 10, a wiring board 26 to which other ends of the conductors 4 are conductively connected and a rear case 9 formed of a hollow member with one end face 9a opened to define a space 9b closed by being fixed to a rear face 3e of the case 3. An introduction hole 9a and a discharge hole 9e introducing and discharging a cooling gas into/from the space 9b are formed at the other end face 9c of the case 9. The wiring board 26 is disposed in the space 9b between the other end face 9c of the case 9 and the case 3 with gaps interposed and front and rear surfaces of the board 26 are opposed to the rear face 3e of the case 3 and the other end face 9c of the case 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
