<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of an option member in merchandise display furniture in which the option member is mounted without hindering displaying and taking out of merchandise articles into and from an merchandise display part and the option member is supported firmly to an upper portion between right and left supports even when mounting the option member in the state of over-hanging toward the merchandise display part. <P>SOLUTION: In the support structure of the option member in the merchandise display furniture 1, at least the front side of the supports 3 and 3 raised on the right and left is a merchandise display part. On the upper surface of an upper lateral rod 4 provided between the upper ends of the right and left supports 3 and 3, a pair of front and rear support rods 12 and 13 are raised directly or indirectly. To the respective support rods 12 and 13, the leg rods 15 and 16 of the option member are fitted.
