<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble polymer dispersion which does not precipitate fine particles, when stored for a long period, and is excellent in storage stability, to provide a paper-strengthening agent, to provide a freeness-improving agent for making paper, and to provide a yield-improving agent for making paper. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the water-soluble polymer dispersion produced by dispersing a water-soluble polymer in a salt aqueous solution having a salt concentration of from 10 wt.% to a saturated concentration with a polymer dispersant obtained by copolymerizing polymerization components comprising 30 to 99. 99 mol% of a cationic radical-polymerizable monomer and 0.01-1 mol% of a sulfonic group-containing radical-polymerizable monomer, wherein the content of the water-soluble polymer is 10 to 40 wt.%, and the viscosity of the dispersion is 3,000-30,000 mPa s at 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
