PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and readily convey a conveyed article between a storage warehouse and a conveying device outside of the storage warehouse in a conveying system. SOLUTION: The conveying system includes the storage warehouse and a second conveying device having a plurality of conveyors. The storage warehouse has a plurality of shelves and a transfer device. In particular, the second conveying device is disposed across the inside of the warehouse. Thus, the conveyed article can be conveyed directly into the storage warehouse on each conveyor. In the conveying system, the conveyed article is sent and received between the shelves and the conveyor by the single transfer device installed in the storage warehouse. Thus, the time taken to store/retrieve the conveyed article into/from the storage warehouse can be reduced in comparison with a structure of sending/accepting the conveyed article between the transfer device installed outside of the storage warehouse and the storage warehouse to attain rapid and ready conveyance of the conveyed article between the storage warehouse and the transfer device.
