<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing an electrophotographic toner, which excels in color developing property and also has a stable light resistance over a long period of time, and to provide an electrophotographic toner obtained by the method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner is obtained by kneading, pulverizing and classifying a mixture of a master batch, containing an organic UV absorbent with a binder resin and a colorant where the amount of the organic UV absorbent doped in the toner is 0.2 to 20 mass%.
