<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device which can obtain a strongly fixed state free of contact interference between a water hose and an electric cord with a simple work by designing a shape of insertion holes of a seat and a mounting plate fixed on both sides of the insertion holes, and a method for mounting the faucet device to an erected wall. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mounting member 20 includes the seat 31 disposed on the front of the erected wall W, and the mounting plate 21 disposed on the back of the erected wall W and connected to the seat 31 to hold the erected wall in cooperation with the seat 31. In the seat 31 and the mounting plate 21, insertion openings 32, 22 are formed which have hose insertion portions 33, 23 into which the water hose 2 can be inserted and electric cord insertion portions 34, 24 having a smaller width than that of the water hose 2 and continuously formed so as to communicate with the hose insertion portions 33, 23. The seat 31 and the mounting plate 21 are mounted to a mounting port 1 of the erected wall W so that the electric cord insertion portions 34, 24 are positioned below the hose insertion portions 33, 23.
