<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing structure of a vehicle capable of improving a sound absorbing effect by a sound absorbing material in relation to sound waves in a cabin, more particularly, sound waves of low and intermediate frequency sound such as road noise. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This sound absorbing structure of the vehicle for absorbing the sound waves in the cabin 18 includes a head part shock absorbing pad 20 provided with a space part having prescribed volume and an opening part for communicating the space part with the outside, and the sound absorbing material 30 arranged oppositely to the opening part at the outside of the head part shock absorbing pad 20 in a state in which the space part is communicable with the outside through the opening part.
