The bearing device has a fixed bearing e.g. grooved ball bearing (LF) and pivot bearing, comprising an outer ring (1) and an inner ring (2), and a rolling body (4) movably accommodated between the outer and inner rings. A bearing accommodating unit (6) or a housing (G) accommodates the outer ring. The inner ring accommodates a shaft end (WF) of a worm (S) to mount the shaft end in the housing. A spring (F1) e.g. elastomer spring or leaf spring, subjects the inner ring with axially acting force. The spring is integrated into a drive shaft (AW) that is driven by a servo drive.
