PURPOSE: A pigment dispersion for a color filter is provided to ensure excellent pigment dispersibility, mobility and dispersion stability, and to improve coating competence and development property of a pigment dispersion resist composition. CONSTITUTION: A pigment dispersion for a color filter comprises pigment, pigment dispersant, and organic solvent. The pigment dispersant is obtained by reacting an isocyanate group of an isocyanate compound having an isocyanurate ring within molecule, with an active hydrogen group having a carbazole ring and/or an azobenzene skeleton. |
