PURPOSE: A USB type smart card and a chip card mounting method using the same are provided to conveniently replace an IC chip including a security authentication module without a new issue procedure. CONSTITUTION: A card body(110) includes a USB(Universal Serial Bus) terminal(113) connected to a USB port of a computer, and an antenna connector is electrically connected to an antenna coil(115) prepared in the card body. A chip card(130) is inserted into the chip card insertion unit by including an IC(Integrated Circuit) chip(131), and is electrically connected to the antenna connection unit exposed to the outside from a bottom plane of the chip card insertion unit. The card body includes a lower body combined to the USB terminal in one body and a cover covering the opening portion of the lower body and forming the entrance of the chip card insertion unit. |
