<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide functional powder which efficiently absorbs impurities, is separated at high speed by magnetism, and is excellent in work efficiency in water treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic particle has a hydrophobic group and a hydrophilic group arranged on the surface. When the number of the hydrophobic groups having a function of absorbing impurities is defined as M and the number of hydrophilic groups having a function for stable dispersion in water is defined as N, the relation of 0.2<M/N<0.8 is satisfied and impurity absorptivity and dispersion stability are made compatible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
