<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal porous body with a rugged shape which does not damage an adjoining member. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises: a molding stage where foamable slurry S comprising metal powder and a foaming agent is placed on a carrier sheet 22 moving on a rotating roller 23, and the foamable slurry S is pulled out from the space between the tip face 24a of a blade 24 arranged at intervals with respect to the roller 23 across the carrier sheet 22 and the roller 23 together with the carrier sheet 22 so as to mold the foamable slurry S into a sheet shape; a foaming/drying stage where the molded foamable slurry S is foamed and dried so as to form a green sheet; and a sintering stage where the green sheet is sintered, wherein, in the molding stage, the foamable slurry S is pulled out while changing the intervals between the surface 23a of the roller 23 and the tip face 24a of the blade 24, the molding thickness of the foamable sheet S is changed, and an optional rugged shape is formed on at least either the surface or the back surface of the green sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
