<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of using a smaller stepping motor as a drive source. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning blade 73 having resilience abuts against a photoreceptor drum 71. The photoreceptor drum 71 is rotated and driven by the stepping motor 81 and a decelerator 82. A control part 84 controlling the operation of the stepping motor 81 performs reverse rotation driving of the stepping motor 81 for a period of time corresponding to the backlash of the decelerator 82 so that the resilient repulsive force of the cleaning blade 73 against the photoreceptor drum 71 is canceled upon the rotation driving start of the photoreceptor drum 71, and then normally rotates and drives the stepping motor 81. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
