<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load of relay equipment in the communication between information processors which are connected with a communication means through a firewall. <P>SOLUTION: In response to a connection request from a VPN node A to a destination of a VPN node B, a node management server 40 makes the VPN node A start a VPN client Ca and a VPN server Sa, and makes a relay server start a VPN server Sr. A VPN tunnel T1 passing through a firewall 10 is formed between the VPN client Ca and the VPN server Sr. In response to a connection request from the VPN node B to a destination of the VPN node A, the node management server 40 makes the VPN node B start a VPN client Cb, and designates a relay server 50 to transfer the data from the VPN node B to the VPN node A.
