<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element easily enhancing light extraction efficiency, and to provide a display having the light emitting element, and a manufacturing method thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element includes a luminous layer formed on a reference flat surface, for emitting light from the light emitting surface nearly parallel to the reference flat surface.
