<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow fan and a multiple axial flow fan in which work for drawing out lead wire along a side surface of a housing is easy and a locked lead wire does not come off from the side surface of a housing and does not loosen. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The housing 1 for the axial flow fan includes a cylinder part 11 including a roughly cylindrical shape wind tunnel, and flanges 14, 15 including a roughly rectangular outer shape formed at axial direction both end sides thereof. Mounting holes 141 are formed at three sections out of four corners at one or both of the flanges 14, 15, and a lead wire holding part 142 which is an opening passing through the thickness direction of the flange is formed at other one section.
