<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heel for shoes which can sufficiently absorb the impact of landing, and at the same time, is equipped with a replaceable lift. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This heel for shoes includes a heel body which is fixed to the base bottom, and the lift 3 which has a replaceable landing surface. The lift 3 includes: an outer shell 3a wherein a bottom plate section 34 including the landing surface 33, a back surface section 35 which stands up from the bottom plate section 34 on the back surface, and a side surface section 37 which stands up from the bottom plate section 34 on a pair of side surfaces are integrally formed, and the external surfaces of the bottom plate section 34, the back surface section 35 and the pair of both side surface sections 37 are formed of a flexible member; and an internal shell wherein the internal surfaces of the bottom plate section 34, the back surface section 35 and the pair of both side surface sections 37 are formed of a hard member of which the hardness is larger than that of the flexible member.
