<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new container for raising plants, enabling vegetation of plants of sufficient kinds and amounts even in a small space, suppressing growth of weeds, and enabling installation of an opened port toward an almost parallel direction or an almost vertical downward direction to the ground. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This container for raising plants comprises a container body having one or a plurality of openings, and a cover for closing part or the whole of the openings.
