<p>A clutch release bearing device is configured such that the inner peripheral surface of an inner ring of a clutch release bearing and a portion of a cover member make muddy water less likely to enter the clutch release bearing device. Thus the clutch release device has enhanced muddy water resistance. A clutch release bearing device is provided with a clutch release bearing (30) and a cover member (50) for covering and holding the outer peripheral surface of an outer ring (31) of the clutch release bearing. The cover member (50) is provided with an outer diameter-side flange section (61), an intermediate tube section (63), a curved section (64), and an inner diameter-side flange section (65). An extended tube section (36) is formed at the other end of an inner ring (35), and a flange section (37) for pressing a diaphragm spring (40) is caused to project radially outward from an extended end of the extended tube section (36). A circular tube peripheral wall surface (90) and a guide surface (91) gradually expanded in diameter from an edge of the circular tube peripheral wall surface (90) are continuously formed on the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring (35). Muddy water flowing along the curved section (64) from the inner diameter-side flange section (65) side is guided to the front end side of the extended tube section (36) by the guide surface (91).</p> |
