<p>The invention relates to a wound dressing and methods of preparation and use thereof for promoting healing of a wound bed. In particular, the wound dressing is advantageous for application to a debrided wound bed. The wound dressing comprises an open conduit polymeric foam matrix, and a hydrophilic polymer which is disposed in dry form on the inner surfaces of the conduits within the matrix.</p> |
