METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE DETECTION OF COATING ERRORS

The present invention provides a method and a measuring system (1) for non-destructive detection of coating errors in an electrically conducting substrate layer (4) that is covered by at least one electrically insulating cover layer (5). A coupling signal is coupled inductively or capacitively into the electrically conducting substrate layer (4) by way of a signal coupling device (4). A measurement signal is coupled out from the substrate layer (4) through the cover layer (5) by way of a signal coupling device (3). An evaluation unit (6) serves to evaluate the outward coupled measurement signal. This allows a coating error to be detected when a signal parameter change of a signal parameter of the out-coupled measurement signal exceeds an adjustable threshold.
