PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a document a color document or a monochrome document to copy documents to transfer paper sheets in each mode, and to automatically align the transfer paper sheets after copying by arranging the sheets according to page number of the document. SOLUTION: An image forming part GH is controlled to form a monochrome image to a transfer paper sheet in first, and a conveying part 33 is controlled to convey all of the transfer paper sheets with monochrome image to stand-by trays 35B-37B. The image forming part GH is controlled to form a color image to a transfer paper sheet. Further, the conveying part 33 is controlled so that the transfer paper sheet with monochrome image placed on the stand-by tray 35B or the like is inserted between the transfer paper sheets with color image by arranging the sheets according to page number, and then the transfer paper sheets are delivered onto a delivery tray 26. If the color documents and monochrome documents are mixed, the monochrome documents are copied to the transfer paper sheets together in the monochrome mode, and the color documents are copied to the transfer paper sheets together in the color mode.
