<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heated toilet seat device which can cut electric power consumption and whose costs can be reduced in such a construction that the toilet seat can be freely attached to and detached from a body. <P>SOLUTION: When the body 2 is put in a state where it can not continuously receive electric power signals (feedback signals) transmitted from the toilet seat 3, it intermittently transfers electric power to the toilet seat 3 and can reduce electric power which is transmitted within a predetermined period. Accordingly, the electric power consumption can be cut when the toilet seat 3 is detached from the body 2. Also, since the body 2 intermittently transmits electric power even when the toilet seat 3 is detached from the body 2, the device can determine whether the toilet seat 3 is attached to the body 2 or not by detecting restart of reception of electric power signals without providing an attachment/detachment sensor for detecting whether the toilet seat 3 is attached to the body 2 or not. Consequently, since the attachment/detachment sensor is unnecessary, device cost can be reduced while electric power consumption is cut down when the toilet seat 3 is detached from the body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
