<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of inspecting collectively a plurality of battery cells. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cell fixing plate 50 capable of holding a plurality of cells is mounted, and a plurality of inspection probes 31 abutting on the upper surface of each of a prescribed number of cells held by the cell fixing plate are provided, and the edge of a base plate 20 is placed on a support table 81 provided on a frame 80 and supported movably in the vertical direction, and a probe mounting plate is provided on the frame movably in the plate surface direction through a rockable mechanism 73. Further, a driving mechanism 60 having a lifting plate 62 displaceable vertically so as to abut on the base plate from its lower side, for driving the base plate vertically by the lifting plate is provided. The driving mechanism moves the base plate upward so that the plurality of inspection probes abut on the upper surface of the cell. Positioning between the cell fixing plate 50 and the first probe mounting plate corresponding thereto is performed by providing a plurality of first pins on one side and a plurality of positioning holes 50-1 into which the plurality of first pins can be inserted on the other side, respectively.
