<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system for speeding up information communication processing by reducing concentration of access to a server from a terminal in a network system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The network system includes: a host device for storing information; a mid-position device communicable with the host device; and a plurality of subordinate devices set so that they cannot communicate with the host device. The mid-position device includes a setting means for setting the subordinate device so that the subordinate device can communicate with the mid-position device. The subordinate device communicates with the mid-position device, when being set by the setting means so that the subordinate device can communicate with the mid-position device.
