PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material of high antifouling property. SOLUTION: The building material is formed with an inorganic coating film 2 by coating the outermost surface of a base material 1 with an inorganic coating material. A dispersion liquid with metal oxide particles 3 dispersed without containing a binder is printed on the surface of the inorganic coating film 2 to stick the metal oxide particles 3 to the surface of the inorganic coating film 2. Since the dispersion liquid with the metal oxide particles 3 dispersed without containing the binder is printed, the metal oxide particles 3 stick to the surface of the inorganic coating film 2 without being covered with the binder.
