PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method generally used for constructing strains of recombinant fungi. SOLUTION: Fungi containing at least two essentially homologous DNA domains in a genome, wherein the domains are suitable for combining one or more kinds of copies of recombinant DNA molecules and contain copies in which at least two of the DNA domains comprise an integrated copy of a recombinant DNA molecule, and a method for producing the fungi are provided. A method for proliferating the DNA domains comprising integrated recombinant DNA molecules by gene conversion or amplification is also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
