PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm of excellent operability from which a pull string is eliminated to improve appearance. SOLUTION: In the alarm A, a body part 1 having a detection part 3 for detecting environmental abnormality, fixed to an installation face H is covered with a cover body 2 connected to the body part 1. The body part 1 and the cover body 2 are detachably connected by locking corresponding lock parts 4, the cover body 2 is provided with a push switch 5, and the body part 1 is provided with: a projecting part 6 for pushing the push switch 5; and an elastic support means 7. When performing push operation of the cover body 2, the push switch 7 is pushed by the projecting part 6.
