<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire suppressing reversion and having good processability, good appearance of green stock with less bleeding of additives; and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire is obtained by compounding a liquid polybutadiene, a terminal of which is modified, for example, with an acrylic acid, for example in an amount of 3-120 pts.mass, into a rubber composition comprising 40-120 pts.mass of a reinforcing filler based on 100 pts.mass of a diene type rubber.
