<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blanket for a vehicle having freely deformable flexibility while uniformly performing heating and capable of being safely used without igniting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric blanket for the vehicle includes a heat-release sheet 3 and an electric heater 1. The electric heater 1 is a planer heater 6 comprising a plurality of band-like heater elements 6A arranged with a predetermined interval. The band-like heater element 6A is a sheet-like shape having flexibility and a band-like shape of predetermined width. The band-like heater element 6A electrically connects both side parts of a plurality of sheets of flexible heat generation sheets 9 so as to lay a pair of knitted wires 8 in which a large number of thin wires are collected in a network form and is insulates both surfaces of the flexible heat generation sheet 9 and the knitted wires 8 by an insulation sheet 7. The flexible heat generation sheet 9 is a plastic sheet not substantially containing a carbon but containing a conductive metal, and is set to predetermined electric resistance. The band-like heater element 6A generates heat by Joule heat by performing energization to the respective flexible heat generation sheet 9 through the knitted wires 8 and is heated by the heat generated flexible heat generation sheet 9.
