摘要 <p>Sealing compound comprises at least one scintillator-powder distributed in a crosslinked organic matrix material with a ceramic scintillator-material for converting electromagnetic primary radiation (2) to electromagnetic secondary radiation (3), where: the sealing compound comprises at least one crosslinkable matrix-precursor of matrix-material of scintillator-composite; and the scintillator-powder is distributed in the crosslinked matrix-precursor of the matrix-material. Sealing compound comprises at least one scintillator-powder distributed in a crosslinked organic matrix material with a ceramic scintillator-material for converting electromagnetic primary radiation (2) to electromagnetic secondary radiation (3), where: the sealing compound comprises at least one crosslinkable matrix-precursor of matrix-material of scintillator-composite; the scintillator-powder is distributed in the crosslinked matrix-precursor of the matrix-material; and the scintillator-powder has an average powder-particle diameter (d 50) of 50-100 mu m. An independent claim is included for preparing a scintillator-composite (11), using the above sealing compound, comprising: (a) providing the sealing compound with the crosslinkable matrix-precursor of the matrix-material and the scintillator-powder that is distributed in the precursor; and (b) converting the matrix-precursor of the matrix-material into matrix-material to form the scintillator-composite.</p>
