Said communication is enabled by receiving an internet protocol version 4 data packet from an internet protocol version 4 address, the internet protocol version 4 address corresponding to a mapping between the internet protocol version 4 address and a first internet protocol version 6 address, translating the internet protocol version 4 data packet to an internet protocol version 6 data packet having the first internet protocol version 6 address as a source address and a second internet protocol version 6 address as a destination address, inserting the internet protocol version 4 address into an extension header of the internet protocol version 6 data packet, and sending the internet protocol version 6 data packet to the second internet protocol version 6 address.</p> |
