PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve screening properties by easily bringing a slat into an approximately vertical attitude in a venetian blind. SOLUTION: An easy-to-bend part 22a is formed in a position to the center from at least one edge of a middle-stage tape 22, and the slat 10 is placed on the middle-stage tape 22 without being fixed thereon. When the slat 10 is tilted, an edge of the turning slat 10 is locked to the easy-to-bend part 22a; the movement of the edge of the slat to the edge of a middle-stage tape 22 over the easy-to-bend part 22a is regulated; and the slat 10 is tilted while the edge of the slat 10 bends the easy-to-bend part 22a.
