APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS PRODUCTS

Provided is a glass product manufacturing apparatus which can prevent glass components from being eluted by contents from the inner surface of a glass product and which can manufacture the glass product at low costs without any surface treatment agent or the like.  The apparatus comprises a vertical molding machine (2) for molding a glass material being heated, into a predetermined shape, and a heat treatment furnace (4) for removing the residual strain from a glass product (3) molded by the vertical molding machine (2).  A product transfer route (5) from the vertical molding machine (2) to the heat treatment furnace (4) is equipped with a cooling device (6) and a washing device (7) sequentially in the recited order.  The cooling device (6) acts as a feed means (8) for feeding the glass product (3) into the washing device (7), and cools the glass product (3) to a temperature of about 150°C or lower.  The washing device (7) is equipped with a washing unit (16) for feeding a washing liquid to the inner surface of the glass product (3), and a rinsing unit (17) for feeding clean water to the washed inner surface of the glass product (3).
